To further enhance the sense of space, we unified the trim, baseboards, and door frames with a consistent white paint (Yerim White). In smaller spaces, aligning these linear elements in a single color creates a smoother visual flow, making the area feel more expansive and orderly. This approach with light finishes and unified lines effectively combats the feeling of confinement often found in smaller apartments.
Creating a Fresh Vibe in Bedrooms with Pale Mint Accents
Unlike the main living areas, bedrooms offer an opportunity for a cozier and more personalized atmosphere. Since furniture can quickly make a 16-pyeong apartment bedroom feel smaller, choosing lighter wall colors is essential. For this project, we opted for a pale mint-colored fabric wallpaper, which adds a soft, fresh ambiance without being overpowering. Pale mint blends seamlessly into the space, making it a versatile choice for bedrooms, guest rooms, or even home offices. It pairs beautifully with white interiors while allowing each room to express a unique personality. To maintain the feeling of spaciousness, we used the same flooring as the living room—Hyundai Flooring 2.2T Shade Travertine—creating a continuous visual line throughout the apartment.
